Summarising

I was learning to summarise information. I can find the min I can identify the keywords in a text. It was tricky because I found it hard to answer some of the questions.

Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write a persuasive piece of writing. I can think of lots of reasons why Ice-cream is better than chocolate It was easy to persuade the reader to think that Ice-cream is better than chocolate because Ice-cream is very yummy!

I was learning to write an acrostic poem. I can write an acrostic poem about Halloween. It was tricky to write an acrostic poem because have not written an acrostic poem before.

Making Connections

I was learning to make connections. I can use the phrase 'that reminds me of...' to identify I experiences that are the same. I found this tricky because I found this tricky because I could not think of anything  that was similar to the stories.        

Word Mania

I was learning to make words using different letters. I can make lots of words using the letter provided. It was tricky because the letters I needed to make the words I wanted were not available.

Addictive Addition

I was learning to solve addition problems.  I can solve simple addition problems. It was tricky because I need to practise my basic facts more.

Contractions

I was learning how to make contractions I can make two longer words into one shorter word.It was easy because the new word had parts of the two words in it.

Bonds to Ten

I was learning about bonds to 10. I can add two different numbers to make 10.It was easy because I have been practising adding to 10.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning to notice and identify punctuation marks while reading. I know and can explain what the punctuation means. It was tricky because I was I Kept getting confused with which one was which.

Counting Forwards and Backwards.

I was learning to count forwards and backwards starting from any number. I can count forwards starting from any number. It was easy to count forwards because the numbers were low.

Understanding The Story

I was learning to show my understanding of the story I can answer simple questions about the story where the answer can be easily found in the text. It was easy to answer questions about the story because we read the story before.

Road Safety

Skip Counting

I was learning to skip count in 2's and 5's. I learn't how to skip count in 5's and 2's It was tricky skip count in 2's because I have not learnt about this before.

Vowel Sounds

I was learnig about the short and long vowel sounds. I can tell the differene the long and short vowel sounds. It was tricky to te the difference between the voukl sounds because I need more practist.

I was learning to find root words. how I learn to find root words. it was tricky to find root words because it was something I had not learnt before.
